C’est printemps!

▶ Youth – Troye Sivan

Words might help when communicating, but music is on a whole new level.

As you may have noticed, I’m a huge metaphor-lover and therefore it’s quite usual for me to write about plants and flowers in this blog, obviously with other than nature to think of. I was talking about this choice of mine with one of my dearest friends a few days ago and, of course, this kept me awoken the entire night.

Today’s not the very first day of spring, but I consider it to be so. Today I’ve taken this picture and I’m totally into it: the colours, the lights, the metaphor and the message behind it.

When I’m asked, I always tell who is actually interested in knowing my opinion about this that my favourite seasons are automn and winter. But, you know, my mind is slowly changing its point of view and I’m starting to enjoy spring like I’ve never done.

I suppose that’s because I am in the springtime of my life; and rather than appreciating it as a buried memory when it’s winter, I need to live it as it’s occuring.

Take these words of mine as a suggestion: spring won’t come back once it’s winter, so do your best to create yourself something to grab onto when leaves start to fall and the sweet light of sun is now just a miracle you happened to face.
